Report Card by Feliza Cabrera

New Life Global Outreach (a mission ministry of the New Life Outreach Intl. mother church in VA) here in Ghana, West Africa is thriving! We are happy to give you the report of the Lord!

Pastors Karikari and Charlotte and their four children are well. They are healthy, growing and strong. The children are in school and the oldest, their only son, hopes to attend college one day in the near future! Their 2nd born is in high school and wants to be a Nurse and the 3rd and 4th are also doing very well, helping lots in children's church and doing well in school.

We first met Pastors Karikari back in 2006 during our scouting trip and it was in 2007 that God lead us to appoint him as the Pastor of the New Life GO church in the capital city of Ghana. The church building where the congregation meets for worship was built in 2008 and from the pioneering of the first ministry 11 other congregations sprouted!

Seven years later we have 7 congregations throughout the country of Ghana. They are doing well, they love the Lord, love to worship Him and win souls for Jesus Christ! Here are the names of the locations of the first four. (I do not have the proper spellings of the other three and will add them soon.) We have visited with the first three and will be paying a visit to Takoradi this month, they are 6 hours from us here in Accra.

1. Accra
2. Aburi
3. McCarthy Hill
4. Takoradi

One of the highlights of this year was giving out over 80 certificates of water baptism to the members of the churches here! What a blessing and wonderful celebration it was!

God has been good to the ministry here and we thank our home church and sister churches in Fredericksburg, VA, Huntsville, AL, and Bronx, NY for their prayers and support.

We have had the privilege of living here once again since 2012 until the present to encourage our brothers and sisters in Christ who are laboring in the fields here in Ghana and know that what God has begun He will finish!

Thank you to friends out there listening...by Feliza Cabrera

We are writing you to say thank you.
Thank you for your prayers, John 17:9.
Thank you for standing alongside us as we serve, Galations 6:2.
Thank you...you who gave, Leviticus 23:38.
Thank you for loving us, I John 4:7-12.

It's hard to trust in God sometimes isn't it? But He's so good. He's more than faithful and more than enough.

When you are a natural thinker, you think a lot. When you are a natural thinker and out of your familiar environment and away from regular life as you know it, you think even more!

You can either push towards God or pull away. As for me, I've done both. But God. He is just so good, isn't He? He is the peace giver and the way maker.

He is the calmer of anxious hearts; I have one of those too...be encouraged!

I am so, so glad that He is my Savior, my Redeemer. I was never ever the same after praying to ask Jesus into my heart almost 40 years ago. Hmm. In spite of my own self, He loved me, in spite of what I have done, He loved me, in spite of my future He loves me.

It's about love people. The greatest commandment is to Love the Lord God with all your heart...Matthew 22:37, 38.
